In the memorable series premiere, Wallace has been duct-taped to the flagpole by Weevil and his gang, and Veronica takes pity on him and cuts him down. Forever grateful, Wallace begins hanging out with Veronica. Wallace had just moved to Neptune from Chicago, Illinois, with his mother, Alicia, and his half-brother Darrell. Wallace is a talented basketball player and plays on the Neptune Pirates team, which has gained him popularity. Despite this, he continues to be Veronica's best friend and right-hand man. Wallace is an office aide, and thus, is able to provide Veronica with a great deal of help - which he does, no questions asked.

At one point, Wallace's mom Alicia and Veronica's dad Keith become involved, putting Wallace and Veronica in somewhat awkward positions. However, the relationship slowly deteriorates. Then, Jackie Cook moves to Neptune. Snobby at first, she and Veronica do not get off on the right foot. Veronica is especially angry after Jackie plays a huge prank on her, and Wallace's friendship with Veronica is shakened. Soonafter, Wallace discovers the truth about his father and leaves.

Luckily for us, Wallace soon returns - and needs Veronica's help. Framed for a murder, Wallace needs to get out of a desperate situation. The situation is resolved, and Wallace and Veronica's friendship goes back to normal. At this point, Jackie has reformed, and slowly becomes involved with Wallace again. When Jackie leaves for France, Wallace realizes how much he likes her and goes after her, and Jackie finally tells him the truth.

Currently, Wallace is attending Hearst, along with Veronica, Logan, Dick, and Mac. He is roommates with Piz.
